Why Did Allison Email Me?

The short version

Allison introduces herself to some small businesses by email. If you received one, it is real, it came from Allison Voice, and it is the only one you will get unless you reply or call.

How the address was found

The email went to a business contact address that the business itself published: on its own website, or in a public business directory. Allison Voice does not buy consumer email lists and does not email people in a personal capacity. Before writing, Allison reads the business's public website so the email can be about that business rather than a template.

One email, ever

Allison sends one introductory email to a business. There is no follow-up sequence. A reply or a call is the only thing that continues the conversation; silence ends it.

How to opt out

Every email carries an unsubscribe link in the footer. It takes effect immediately and applies to all email from Allison Voice. Replying to the email to say "no thanks" works too. Either way, the business is never contacted again.

Talking to a person

The email invites the reader to call Allison and hear her answer. Anyone who would rather talk to a person can say so on that call, and Brian Hatt, the founder of Allison Voice, will call them back. The company can also be reached at team@allisonvoice.com.

The sending domain

Allison's introductory emails are sent from the domain allisonhere.com. Typing it into a browser shows a page in Allison's own words describing what she does, how setup works, and what it costs. All sign-ups happen at allisonvoice.com.
